I recently had the pleasure of staying at Affittacamere Montecarlo during my visit to Italy, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. The hotel not only provided a charming 60s-70s atmosphere that felt timeless, but also managed to encompass modern conveniences seamlessly. The spacious and immaculately clean room with a balcony overlooking the marvelous location was truly a highlight of my stay. What truly impressed me was the attention to detail shown by the couple who run the hotel-they were incredibly sweet and accommodating. The personalized touch of the charming elderly gentleman, who I learned was the father of the current host, added a unique charm to the experience. The hotel's commitment to preserving its heritage and offering a warm, family-owned ambiance truly sets it apart. While the breakfast was simple, it was delicious and satisfying. I particularly appreciated the value for money and the proximity to local eateries like Il Borgo Cafe & Bistrot, Gelateria Iano, and La Grotta. Their dedication to providing a memorable and comfortable experience, along with their attention to guest needs, truly sets them apart.
